This
is the fifth year that we are doing Mission Experience.
During the past four Mission Experiences student
missionaries were able to minister to over 4,000 different
people at various outreaches. Over 500 elementary kids have
heard about the love of Jesus through Vacation Bible Schools
where student missionaries have served as teachers. We know
that God has saved over 150 people through His Word as youth
served! Mission Experience members are used by God to impact
eternity. As the student missionaries are impacting lives,
God is impacting them in profound ways. Each past mission
experience student expresses how their faith and passion for
Jesus strengthened as they served.
Mission Experience 2009 will take place June 20-July 3 in
Jamestown, North Dakota. Mission Experience 2009 will
awesome! Training this year (by God's grace) is going
to be deep! For five days you will be stretched and
challenged in what you believe. We already have nearly
100 students coming to M.E.0.9 this year! During
training you will learn amazing things from God's Word but
also you will learn you how to work with children, how to
witness, how to teach Bible studies, how to defend your
beliefs, how to properly understand law and Gospel, and so
much more. Training is tough but really good. We don’t only
sit in a classroom and discuss things, we go out and
practice what we learn. Following training you will
participate in one-on-one evangelism and serve as VBS
teachers.
We believe that this mission opportunity will truly provide
eternal rewards for you. You will learn new methods of
evangelism and have a chance to put those skills into
practice. You will have the opportunity to stay in host
homes and benefit from that experience. You will be able to
serve and know the joy of giving of themselves.
We know that mission trips are often costly. We want to keep
this experience as affordable as possible. The only costs
associated with Mission Experience 2008 are a $75.00
materials fee and the whatever it costs for you to get here.
Everything else is provided. We will gladly assist in
arranging transportation and give suggestions about
fund-raising.
